We begin our tour strolling through the beautiful streets of the historic center to reach the traditional Mercado del Olivar (the largest public market on the island and one of the most important tourist landmarks). Built in 1951, it is a building of Mediterranean architecture and a meeting place for traders and people looking for the perfect combination between gastronomic tradition and the wide national and international culinary offer.
We will visit different traditional stores where we will taste a selection of Iberian products such as ham, chorizo, sausage, salami, pork loin... accompanied with virgin olive oil and a selection of local wines with which we will learn about the rich culture and wine production of the island.
We will continue the route with a walk through the center of the city. It is a unique opportunity to get to know different typical shops where you can buy exquisite specialties of all kinds: chocolates, sausages, salt flakes, empanadas or the rich ensaimadas. We will be able to get to know the best of local organic food and products.
We will end the tour with a stop at a central establishment in one of the busiest streets of Palma, where we will enjoy some pinchos inspired by the classic Spanish tapas while having fun with the lively atmosphere of the place
