During our tour, we will discover the extensive monumental heritage that the historic center of Palma holds. Within its charming streets, you will find some of the most prominent Gothic buildings on the island. One of them is the Lonja, a magnificent masterpiece from the 15th century whose exterior architecture provides valuable clues about the city's commercial past.
Just a few steps away from the Lonja, we will contemplate the imposing facade of the Cathedral of Santa Maria, known as "La Seu" in Mallorcan. In front of the temple, in awe, we will admire another beautiful medieval monument of the city: the Royal Palace of Almudaina. Over the centuries, numerous kings have resided in its chambers, leaving behind a rich legacy of anecdotes and curiosities.
If you wish, we can also delve into the area where the City Hall of Palma and its surroundings are located. Many tourists are unaware that this area was occupied during the Middle Ages by the ancient Jewish quarter of Palma. If we observe carefully, even today, we can perceive its influence and legacy.
