We will depart from the Port of Los Cristianos in Tenerife and take the ferry to San Sebastian de La Gomera, capital of the island. There we will board the guagua (bus) to visit our first stop: the Hermigua Valley.
We will continue the tour passing by La Palmita and we will arrive in Agulo. There you will have time to have lunch in a typical restaurant and, if availability allows us, watch a live demonstration of silbo gomero.
After lunch we will start our ascent to the Garajonay National Park, a paradise of laurel forests and a natural reserve declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. There we will make a special stop at Laguna Grande, where you can explore the surroundings where the ancient witches of the island are said to have gathered.
On the way back we will stop to admire the imposing Roque de Agando, an impressive and rugged volcanic lava formation. Finally we will return to San Sebastian, where you can see the last historical redoubts of the passage of Christopher Columbus before his departure to the American Continent as the Torre del Conde or La Casa de Colón.
