The city of Puerto de la Cruz is located in the coastal area of the Orotava Valley, in the north of Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands.
Puerto de la Cruz has the peculiarity of being the smallest municipality of the Canary Islands, with only 8.9 km2 of surface, due to the fact that it was born as a spin-off of the Villa de La Orotava.
There are many who believe that one of the most outstanding attractions of the municipality is its temperate climate that is maintained throughout the year, a fact that was reported by several European naturalists who visited Puerto de la Cruz in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
On our excursion, you can enjoy a pleasant day by the sea, which offers you the possibility of visiting the Martiánez Lake, the Botanical Garden or simply getting to know the city.
