In between two vast bodies of water, the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, Turtle Island hosts a great number of Loggerhead and Green turtles, small nurse sharks, and small reef sharks, as well as large manta rays in its waters.
During our journey, we will explore fascinating places such as the Caldera, a site of high ecological value and a refuge for countless marine species, in addition to all kinds of birds like the enormous frigates and pelicans.
Another of the many natural attractions we will visit is Cayo Ratón, bathed by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. It is a beautiful coral reef with crystal-clear waters, adorned with countless corals. The fauna in this place is very diverse, and it is undoubtedly the ideal spot for snorkeling.
The Catuano Channel, where the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea converge, will lead us to the well-known Saona Island, where a delicious Dominican lunch will be waiting for us. Here, we will have free time to swim in its calm waters and relax under the paradisiacal coconut palms.
