We will arrive by jeep at the natural monument of the 27 Waterfalls (27 Charcos), one of the most visited tourist attractions in the city of Puerto Plata due to its ecological beauty and the stunning waterfalls that have formed over the years, creating natural rock slides. This tourist attraction consists of 27 waterfalls, but most people opt for the shorter route and only visit 12.
We will start the excursion with a moderate walk of approximately 30 minutes that will take us to the top of the waterfalls. Here is where the real fun begins: we will jump, slide down natural slides, and swim as we make our way back to the base camp.
There are jumps of up to 8 meters, but don't worry, the higher jumps have ramps if you're not comfortable with the height.
