This tour is a unique opportunity to explore the products that the Dominican Republic produces in an artisanal and organic way. We will learn about the production of coffee, cocoa, sugarcane cultivation, and its products such as sugarcane juice or 'Guarapo.' Witness the handcrafting of cigars and stroll among plantations of various fruits like pineapple, papaya, and coconut. We will visit a rural family's home and see how they cook their typical food, which we will have the opportunity to taste. All of this will be enjoyed while touring the countryside on a 'Safari Truck,' suitable for such rural paths to be in close contact with nature, even having the chance to swim in a mountain river with fresh and clean water. As part of the journey, we will make a stop in the town of Higuey to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Altagracia, the Patroness of the Dominican Republic.
