Ciudadela de Menorca is the cultural capital of the island. The city has a stately atmosphere that permeates every street. Strolling every summer through its streets, squares and its magnificent harbor is a real pleasure.

Description of the experience

Tourism in Ciudadela means visiting one of the most beautiful historical sites in the Balearic Islands. Its urban nucleus and its people emanate a very lively energy that you will feel as soon as you arrive. Don't forget that its old town has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest.

We will start our tour in the Plaza Alfonso III (known as the Plaça de ses Palmeres) to, from there, discover the main monuments and places of interest of Ciudadela de Menorca.

Throughout the tour we will walk through the narrow streets and picturesque squares, while we know unforgettable places such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria, the monumental complex of the Born or the street of ses Voltes.

During our walk you will be able to contemplate magnificent palaces of the old nobles of the island and old churches and convents with secret histories.

In almost two hours you will be amazed by the history and heritage of this city. We assure you that this guided tour will not leave you indifferent.
