Palma - Sa Calobra - Puerto de Sóller - Sóller - Palma
We start our journey towards the Cuber and Gorg Blau reservoirs, which are located in the Almallutx Valley, in the Serra de Tramuntana. They were built in the early 1970s in order to create a water reserve for the Balearic capital, especially useful in times of drought common in the Mediterranean climate. The reservoirs are located at the foot of Mallorca's highest mountain, Puig Major (1445 m), restricted to people, as the summit is the site of a radar used for air control of the western Mediterranean.
Winding the narrow road of the Sierra de Tramuntana we will reach the road to Sa Calobra, located at more than 800m above sea level, famous for its famous "Nus de Sa Corbata".
At the end of the road we will reach the beach of Sa Calobra and the mouth of the Torrent de Pareis, which form an imposing whim of nature.
The Torrent de Pareis is the habitat of different species of animals and local vegetation that give it an incalculable environmental value. In Sa Calobra, we will embark on a cruise to the Port of Sóller, sailing along the north coast of the island and observing the maritime cornice of the Sierra de Tramuntana (listed as a World Heritage Site) that offers spectacular views of nature in its purest form.
Once on land, we can admire the Puerto de Sóller promenade, a historic enclave coveted in ancient times by corsairs and pirates due to Mallorca's location in the Mediterranean Sea. The Sóller Valley offers us mixed perfumes of orange blossom and citrus, idyllic landscapes and a rich maritime history that we will be able to know in this journey.
From the port itself, we will take the emblematic wooden streetcar to the town of Sóller, where we are welcomed by its bustling streets and famous modernist buildings such as the Church of San Bartolomé or the old Bank. Sóller, known as the cradle of modernism, keeps an extensive history among its streets and buildings. The old stately houses and palaces of colonial style tell us how in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, the Mallorcan merchants made their fortune with the orange trade in France and how King Alfonso XIII proclaimed the town of Sóller in city and commercial and cultural center of the area.
From the same center, we will start the return route with a centenary train that preserves its original aesthetics and continues to travel the old tracks that cross the Sierra de Alfabia. Its wooden carriages, carefully cared for, take us back in time to 1912, when it was inaugurated. The train is characterized for being a narrow-gauge railroad, which is not very common nowadays, and for presenting a very varied old rolling stock, with a detailed character and handcrafted maintenance. Tunnels, steep mountains, lush forests and magnificent scenery make it an unforgettable journey.

Located in the Serra de Tramuntana, the green heart of Mallorca, considered a World Heritage Site, there is a haven of natural life and peace where you can escape from routine. La Reserva Park is a special enclave where you can enjoy nature and participate in its important mission: the conservation and preservation of flora and fauna. We are also an animal reserve: we take in animals that, due to some problem, cannot live in the wild or those that were going to be sacrificed, giving them a second chance and a new life.
