Description of the experience

This excursion combines a visit to one of the most charming and picturesque villages in the Serra de Tramuntana, Valldemossa, with an oenological experience at one of Mallorca’s most renowned wineries, Macià Batle. With an approximate duration of 4.5 hours, it is an excellent option for those seeking a tour that combines history, culture, and gastronomy.

  • Valldemossa, Cradle of Artists: The tour begins in the picturesque village of Valldemossa, famous for having housed the composer Fryderyk Chopin and the writer George Sand. We will explore the most relevant points of interest:
    • Religious and Cultural Heritage: You will visit the Gothic-style Church of Sant Bartomeu, dating back to the 13th century. You will also see the birthplace of Santa Catalina Thomàs, a Majorcan saint highly revered on the island.
    • Gardens of the Charterhouse: You can stroll through the gardens surrounding the famous monastery of the Real Cartuja de Valldemossa (Royal Charterhouse of Valldemossa), a place of great beauty and tranquility.
    • Local Flavor: Free time will be offered to walk through the charming cobbled streets and try the famous and traditional “coca de patata,” a typical sweet of the village.

  • Macià Batle Wineries: The second part of the excursion focuses on the world of wine at the Macià Batle winery, located in Santa Maria del Camí. It is one of the most prestigious on the island and has won numerous national and international awards. They offer us the opportunity for:
