Excursion to Dinosaurland and Hams Caves

Description of the experience

Once we are all aboard the coach we will head to Porto Cristo.

During the trip, our guide will tell us interesting details about the history of our islands and we will discover the "Pla de Mallorca", an extension of 600 square kilometers that extends between the Serra de Tramuntana and the Serra de Llevant. We will travel through the Pla de Mallorca region, a plain where we will enter the most traditional Mallorca, with its typical windmills and where the Mallorcan peasants have been working the fields and taking care of the cattle for centuries.

After about an hour we will arrive at our destination, once there, you will have 3 hours of free time to visit the Hams Caves and the DINOSAURLAND park.
Inside the Dinosaur Park, you will walk among more than 100 life-size dinosaurs, many of them with sound and movement! Among the dinosaurs we will find the largest in the world, the TITANOSAUR, with an impressive length of 50m; the famous TYRANOSAURUS REX, an agile and ferocious predator, with a highly developed sense of smell, acute hearing and an extraordinarily powerful bite; and the QUETZALCOATLUS, the largest flying animal that has ever existed.

Afterwards, the little ones will be able to enjoy different activities such as joining the archaeology group in the explorers' area and discover all the secrets of the park and participate in a show in which we will meet a baby Raptor and its mother, you can even take a picture with them!

In the caves, we will descend into the Round Cave, a huge botanical garden with native fauna. In the Blue Cave, the documentary "Discovering the past" introduces us to the history of Mallorca, its first inhabitants, the formation of the caves and their extraordinary discovery. Then we will admire the "Samson's Columns", the "Plains of Fra Mauro" and the "Pit of Hell", in whose Auditorium you will enjoy GENESIS, -The History of Life-, a vertiginous audiovisual Time-Lapse, from the Big-Bang to the present day, in a giant projection on the millenary rock of the Cave. We will then visit the Classic Cave, which is composed of 12 galleries. In the subway Sea of Venice Lake, the Musical Show is offered. The visit takes about an hour and has a distance of 850m.
