On this tour, we will head into the interior of Málaga, where we will stroll among vineyards with the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Moscatel varieties, getting to know their peculiarities. Later, at the winery, we will understand the process of making their red, white, rosé, and vermouth wines in order to appreciate their flavors on our palate.
Vineyard Visit
En route to the winery, we will pass through small villages where you can observe the typical Andalusian white houses. First, we will visit the vineyards and then take a walk among the vines. We will discover different grape varieties such as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, or Merlot, among others. Of course, we will be accompanied by one of the owners of a small and beautiful winery in the Málaga mountains who will explain how his family produces a truly delicious (and award-winning) wine each year, and we will learn many secrets of wine production.
Wine Tasting
After a stroll through the vineyards, we will go to the winery and enter its main courtyard. There, we will learn how grapes are turned into wine, and finally, a detailed tasting of their 5 best wines will be conducted, accompanied by tasty tapas. Some of these wines have been made using recipes found in the ancient cellars of Málaga over 200 years ago.
