During the bus tour, you will enjoy the journey along Malaga and the Costa del Sol while our guide tells you anecdotes and curiosities about the caliphal city, Cordoba.
We will make a first stop of 30 minutes in Lucena, known as the 'Pearl of Sepharad,' with a great historical and artistic heritage. Here you can have breakfast or take a stroll through this Cordovan municipality.
Once in Cordoba, we will see the Roman Bridge, famous for being a setting in the renowned TV series Game of Thrones, and we will start a one-hour walk with our official guide through one of the most typical neighborhoods of this city, the Jewish Quarter of Cordoba. The city has 4 inscriptions on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and we will visit its most famous corner, the Street of Flowers, the narrowest street in the city, the Handkerchief Alley, and the Cordoba Synagogue (the only one preserved in Andalusia after the expulsion of the Jews in 1492). We will continue until we reach one of the most important squares in the Jewish Quarter, the Maimonides Square (named after a famous Cordovan Jewish philosopher and physician).
After this pleasant first tour, we will arrive at the exterior of the monument in the Orange Tree Courtyard to begin the guided tour inside the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba. During one hour, you will get to know one of the most important monuments in the city, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the guided tour, you will have free time in Cordoba, where you can take a walk through the historic city center.
At the time indicated by our guide, we will gather again for the return to the same pick-up location.
