The El Chorro Via Ferrata is located in the Natural Area of Los Gaitanes Gorge, in El Chorro, a region situated in the Guadalhorce Valley and belonging to Álora. It is surrounded by significant gorges and walls, making it one of the most visited climbing and mountaineering areas in Europe.
For this activity, you don't need previous experience, but a good state of health and a willingness to live a great adventure and release adrenaline from heights, accompanied by specialized guides who will assist you at all times and explain each step we take. This El Chorro Via Ferrata has a K3 difficulty level, mainly due to its length rather than its difficulty. It is quite comprehensive, as it involves a vertical ascent on iron steps, where we gain height and immerse ourselves in the environment for about 4 hours. It includes a 35-meter zip line, a 15-meter Tibetan bridge, and a 30-meter monkey bridge that will leave you amazed with views of the Las Encantadas reservoir in the Chorro Dam.
Afterward, we will have a short trekking descent to return to our starting point, allowing you not to miss the wonderful views of the stone bridge that characterizes the environment of Caminito del Rey under the train tracks. The nature and its species make this route truly unforgettable.
