Still unfinished more than 100 years after construction began, La Sagrada Familia is unlike any other church you've ever visited. On a guided tour of this architectural marvel, see the ornate towers, and delve inside to learn about the basilica's complex history.
After meeting your guide, you'll begin walking around the church's imposing facade, its stone walls seeming to go in all different directions as its pinnacles soar skyward. Your guide will inform you about the symbolism of La Sagrada Familia, which is represented in a variety of ways throughout the church's design. The structure embodies Christian ideology, as every major feature of the building exalts the family of Nazareth as a model of a united family.
Walk inside this sacred church and witness the brilliant and spectacular colors of the stained glass windows shining on the white stone that covers the space. Look up at the ceiling and admire the hundreds of pillars that resemble crisscrossing tree branches.
