We will start the tour visiting the Monastery of Montserrat in a comfortable bus from Barcelona.
Once we arrive at the monastery, you can visit the Museum of Montserrat and marvel at its cultural heritage. You can also learn a lot about the archaeology of the East, as Mesopotamia, Cyprus, Egypt and Palestine donated great cultural treasures to this place. In addition, you can see paintings from the 13th to 18th centuries by great artists such as Morales, El Greco, Berruguete and Caravaggio. Do not forget to visit its iconic basilica, with a Gothic and Renaissance style, where you can see its beautiful atrium and the spectacular sacristy, which have had the honor of stepping on renowned singers, composers and musicians. You will learn about this thanks to the explanation of our guide and the different audiovisuals that are exhibited in the place, and you will also have the pleasure of tasting some homemade liqueurs made by the monks of the place!
In the afternoon, when we return to Barcelona, you will have free time to have lunch and get to know the local gastronomy. Afterwards, and following the indications of our guide, we will go to the Sagrada Familia cathedral. You will see the facades and the interior in stone, where you will observe certain symbolisms with the Christian ideology and faith that the guide will explain to you. In this temple, you will identify an exaltation of the Family of Nazareth, as a model of a united and Christian family.
