This excursion will take you to the heights to visit the highest peak in Spain: El Teide.
We will cross the Canary pine forests until we reach the Teide National Park, located about 2000 meters above sea level. This natural space was declared National Park in 1954, with the aim of protecting this landscape of incredible beauty and high ecological value.
Along the route we will make some stops so you can admire all that this natural space has to offer. The Cañadas del Teide form a caldera of 17 km. on which sits the peak of the volcano. A landscape that with its cones, lava flows and caves seems from another planet.
Then you will have free time for lunch on your own.
Later we will go to the base of the cable car where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Ucanca Valley.
Optionally and subject to availability, you can take the Teide cable car up to La Rambleta station, located at 3550m, where you will be just a few meters from the highest peak in Spain.
We will resume the march and visit the Roques de García, where you will see one of the most emblematic images of Tenerife, as well as other important attractions of the National Park.
