We will start exploring the landscape of the Teide National Park by hiking a 6 km long route. We will walk through the Cañadas, getting to know the Llanos de Ucanca, the Cinchado rock and other natural monuments that will leave you with your mouth open. Sometimes it will seem that we are on Mars or on the moon instead of on an island in the middle of the Atlantic.
During the tour, we will reveal how the Teide was formed and what different eruptive processes it has experienced throughout its history.
We will also take a look at the local flora and fauna and explain why this natural site is so rich in endemic species. Have you ever heard of the red tajinastes and the Teide violets? Wait to know all the details during the free tour.
We will finish the Teide tour returning to the starting point after two hours of activity.
