We will begin with a tour of the renowned Mayan temples, where your guide will immerse you in the fascinating history of the Mayans and point out the best places to capture photographs. Additionally, you will discover Mayan traditions and beliefs, understand the importance of Tulum in an ancient trade route, and unveil some of the secrets hidden behind its ancient walls.
Next, we will head to the city of Tulum, a fusion of a cosmopolitan coastal town and an authentic Mexican village. The city has its own style that you'll appreciate as we stroll through streets adorned with mural art, quirky architecture, trendy cafes, and, of course, rich local culture. Our guides will share stories behind some of these places. During this urban tour, we'll stop at our favorite local taqueria, where we guarantee you'll be amazed by the authentic flavors, sauces, and seasoning (vegan and vegetarian options are also available).
After enjoying brunch, we will visit the Melipona Maya Bee Foundation, a non-profit sanctuary for stingless native bees. This visit will immerse you in the natural world of the region, with the special addition of tasting delicious honey. This unique and enriching experience is maximized as the bees are calm and pose no danger, as they do not sting.
To conclude, we will head to one of the local cenotes to enjoy a refreshing and well-deserved swim. Tulum is known for its cenotes, and no visit would be complete without taking a dip in one. This is an excellent opportunity to cool off, swim, relax, or have fun with the swing ropes and high jumps.
The tour is designed for everyone to enjoy, with maximum 20-minute intervals on a comfortable urban bike between each stop. It's an authentic Tulum experience, led by experienced and passionate guides who share their love for nature, history, and fun.
