Platja d'es Trenc is a set of dunes, pine forests, mountains, salt marshes and tamarinds designed to intoxicate the senses. It is part of the natural area of the marsh of Es Salobrar, a protected area of 1,500 hectares of the most beautiful in Mallorca and is perfect for a day at the beach in an ideal natural environment.

One of the most curious elements that can be seen on the beach, are some defense fortifications that date back to the 40's and whose purpose was to defend the island from the invasion of the allied troops, a piece of history intact.
One of the most interesting attractions of this area are the Es Trenc salt mines, which have a large area and production of salt flakes. Its origins date back to the 4th century BC and were used by the Punics and Romans.
