Dragonera Island, whose silhouette reminds us of a dragon over the sea, is a protected natural park in Mallorca, accessible only by boat. The island is home to ancient agricultural buildings and three lighthouses that have survived throughout history. With its highest point nearly 400 meters high, it rises majestically off the coast of Mallorca and offers splendid views of the blue Mediterranean Sea. Dragonera is uninhabited, the flora and fauna grow freely, and it is home to a population of thousands of small lizards, a species endemic to the islets of Mallorca. They are not shy, and you will encounter them sunbathing along your walk. Your local guide, a passionate biologist, will take you through natural trails and tell you myths and legends of the island and its small inhabitants. We will depart from San Telmo, and have a 20-minute journey where we can admire the spectacular views of Dragonera as a whole. On the island, we will take you to the Llebeig lighthouse, a watchtower built in 1580, along a path with few slopes that traverses much of the island. At the foot of the lighthouse, we will enjoy a delicious picnic consisting of typical products of Mallorcan cuisine in front of the wonderful sea views, before starting the return journey.
