If you like challenges, climbing is a good choice. Mallorca is fortunate to have incredible climbing rocks, all in amazing places. Climbing is undoubtedly a sport of physical and mental overcoming. This adventure is divided into 3 different areas:
South of Mallorca
There are many crags around Palma and Valldemossa that are easily accessible. Our guide will take you to the best places where you can make the most of your climbing sessions. Two of the best known crags of Mallorca in the south are:
• Sa Gubia: the largest crag in Mallorca due to the number of routes available and its height, which allows many climbs of various lengths.
• Fraguel: which has the most high-grade climbing routes available here in Mallorca and attracts many climbers from all over Europe.
Northwest Mallorca
From Soller to Inca, you will find the highest mountains in Mallorca that offer some of the best places for sport climbing with a combination of routes for the whole family. Most of the cliffs, such as La Victoria and sa Font, have routes for beginner to intermediate level, ideal for getting started in climbing. for families or to work on the technique. For advanced climbers, this area also includes the Gouge Blau, the most important ravine in Europe with 39 routes available.
East of Mallorca
This area is not known for sport climbing, however, the area has the largest number of sites for psicobloc in Mallorca. This has earned Mallorca a place among the best European Psicobloc locations and is attracting some of the best climbers out there. Obviously we recommend that you do not try this before learning to climb, but if you are looking for a guide, please send us an email and we will be happy to help you.
