In 1906, while digging for water to make a cistern, a treasure was discovered just a few minutes from Palma: The caves of Genova, a fascinating natural legacy sculpted in stone, drop by drop, for centuries. A unique experience that adds to its exclusive beauty a fascinating audiovisual show, in the environment of this emblematic Mallorcan enclave.

Description of the experience

These are the closest caves to the capital of Mallorca. Their proximity to Palma and the communication facilities make them easily accessible to visitors, ideal for visiting them with family and friends.

They were discovered in 1906, and like the rest of the caves and caverns of Mallorca, they are formed by a set of subway galleries of calcareous origin joined by naturally formed corridors.

The interior tour is done in small groups of people accompanied by a guide, with whom you descend to a depth of 36 meters.

In prehistoric times, natural caves in Mallorca served as habitat and refuge. Today, they enchant thousands of people with their natural beauty that water has sculpted over the centuries: huge domes, majestic columns, water pools, tunnels...
