Explore the picturesque old town of Málaga on this guided tour of the historic center and the Cathedral of Málaga. We will access the famous 'La Manquita' and learn about its history.

Description of the experience

Welcome to Málaga Cathedral! Come closer and discover more about the historic heart of Málaga with this route, which starts at the glass pyramid located in front of the Roman Theater. The first point to visit will be Plaza de la Merced, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, where we will talk about the figure of Torrijos and the obelisk. Do you know why the top of the obelisk is twisted? The guide will tell you this and more. We will continue along Granada Street, where we will see the Church of Santiago, a Gothic-Mudéjar gem, where Picasso was baptized in 1881. We will wander through the central streets of Málaga until we reach the Cathedral of the Incarnation, known as 'La Manquita', where we can appreciate the beauty of its interior.
