Description of the experience

Welcome to the Picasso Museum! 'When I was a child, my mother used to tell me: if you become a soldier, you'll be a general; if you become a priest, you'll become a pope. I wanted to become a painter, and I became Picasso.' The life and work of Pablo Ruiz Picasso, the most universal Malaga-born artist, is a torrent of emotions and sensations.

Discover the work of one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. The museum is located within the Palace of the Counts of Buenavista, a Renaissance building that opened to the public in 2003 and hides Phoenician remains within.

We will explore the painter's most well-known cubist legacy; in addition, we will also observe some of his earlier surrealist creations. Approach this museum, essential for understanding and getting to know the life and production of this Spanish genius.
