We propose a tour in which, for two hours, we will visit the rooms of this spectacular monastery in the town of San Lorenzo del Escorial.
Once gathered at the meeting point we will head to the Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial. By the way, do you know why Philip II chose for its construction its current location at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama? We will learn the reasons for his choice during our tour of the basilica, the Sala de Batallas, the pantheon, the palatial rooms and other essential places of the monument.
We will also visit the famous library of the Royal Monastery, whose volumes were collected by Philip II to expand his humanistic knowledge.
After discovering the secrets of this marvel of Renaissance architecture, we will end the guided tour at the entrance to the building.
