Relax and enjoy the scenery in an air-conditioned bus until our arrival in Toledo, a World Heritage City since 1986. There, our accredited guide will show you its fantastic heritage, the result of the coexistence of Christian, Islamic and Jewish cultures for centuries.
We will start walking through the cloisters of the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, sponsored by Isabella of Castile to become a mausoleum and the most important construction during the time of the Catholic Monarchs. Right after the visit we will walk to Santa María la Blanca. Originally built as a synagogue, this building was expropriated and became a church 211 years after its inauguration. Today, it is a fantastic museum of Mudéjar art that we can admire along with El Greco's nearby painting, The Burial of Count Orgaz, in the Church of Santo Tomé. Did you know that El Greco himself lived in this beautiful city?
Next we will visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria, the crown jewel of Toledo's rich and vast architectural heritage and considered one of the most important Gothic temples in Spain. After delighting ourselves with its many treasures, we will have an hour and a half of free time for lunch.
Finally, after the reunion with the guide, we will take our steps to the ancient mosque of Cristo de la Luz (the best preserved of the ten mosques that were in the city).
Before returning to Madrid, we will take a short panoramic tour of the outside of Toledo to the viewpoint of El Valle.
We will be back in the center of Madrid around 17:00h.

As early as the 12th century, the monks of Cluny were growing grapes on the banks of the Duero River to produce wine. The Ribera del Duero is in the heart of Castilla-León, the old land of castles. The subsoil of almost all the villages is practically hollow, with caves dug to store the wine, as they guarantee perfect conditions of humidity and temperature. Although many cellars have fallen into disuse, some have been recovered for visits or for wine production. Visiting an old wine cellar that has been in operation for centuries and drinking a glass of wine there is an unforgettable experience.
