


You will begin the walking tour with a visit to the Palacio de Cibeles. This beautiful building, located at the intersection of Paseo del Prado and Calle Alcalá, was built in what was then the Buen Retiro Gardens. You will enter with your guide and after visiting the interior, you will enjoy an incredible view of the Gran Vía from its rooftop. Don't forget to bring your camera!
We will continue our walking tour along Alcalá street to enter the Retiro Park. More than 400 years old, it is the most important green area of Madrid and considered the lung of the city.
In the 17th century, the Count-Duke of Olivares designed a space for the recreation of the king and his court, giving rise to the Buen Retiro Gardens. In 1868 it became a municipal park and since then many elements have been added to its heritage.
