Santa Eulalia del Río is a town located in the eastern part of Ibiza. Its strategic location made it a privileged place since early times. Phoenicians, Romans, Andalusians and Aragonese shaped what we can see today.
Our free tour in Santa Eulalia will start next to the Town Hall, from where we will head, through the promenade, towards the mouth of the river. A wonderful walk where you can discover all the history and traditions of Ibiza and be surprised by some of its legends.
We will discover the mysteries of the Devil's Bridge, an ancient Roman bridge. We will continue our tour to the museum of the traditional Ibicencan house (Centro de Interpretación Can Planetes) where we will learn about the traditional country life in Ibiza and its typical houses.
And from the imposing Puig de Missa, a hill bathed in white houses and on top of which stands the 16th century fortress church of Santa Eulalia, we will enjoy fantastic views and learn about traditional Ibicencan churches, pirates and also the local flora and fauna.
