After meeting the guide, the tour will begin. The first part of the visit will take place in the Patio de los Naranjos of the Mosque, where you will discover the origin of this building.
During the visit inside the Temple, you will walk through the four different expansions that took place during the 8th to 10th centuries. In one of them, you will discover the Mihrab on the quibla wall, which is made of gold, mother-of-pearl, lapis lazuli, and precious stones, the crown jewel of this building.
After visiting the Cathedral, it's time to start the second part of the tour, with the Alcázar of the Christian Monarchs, an ancient palace from the 14th century created by Alfonso XI. Inside, you will explore its corridors that tell the history of the kings who lived in this Alcázar, such as the Catholic Monarchs.
And the best way to conclude is with the famous gardens of the Alcázar, full of fountains and flowers that are so characteristic of Andalusian buildings.
