The Cordoba Evening Tour will take you through the extramural area, known as the Axerquía, one of the suburbs or expansion neighborhoods of the city beyond the Roman wall. Most of these neighborhoods emerged when Cordoba became the most populous city, a center of knowledge, also known as the 'Pearl of the West.' This tour offers a pleasant stroll where we'll cross the border represented by the Roman wall and delve into the area that was also the first to be conquered by Christians, hence the name used to refer to a neighborhood in this part of Cordoba, the Realejo.
Numerous squares, places, and monuments will unveil themselves as we proceed, revealing the beauty that Cordoba holds. The city's famous label, 'City of Three Cultures' (or four), will be our faithful companion throughout the journey.
Exploring this part of Cordoba with our team of guides will provide you with a much broader perspective of everything Cordoba has to offer. A vast area of the historic center awaits you if you wish to see what others don't, if you are one of those who want to capture a complete image of the city, those who don't want to settle for just the famous or commonly known sights.
Come with us, get your camera ready, and fill it with incredible photos of places that few get to see!
