We will begin the day by visiting the town of Valladolid, a colonial town in the Yucatán Peninsula, where we will stroll through its cobblestone streets. After this visit, we will head to a cenote, a natural pool where you can cool off and enjoy a tranquil moment of contemplation before embarking on the journey to Chichén Itzá. Enjoy this refreshing and charming underground sinkhole, sacred to the Maya, before returning to your starting point. Following our adventure in the cenote, we will immerse ourselves in Mexican culture and enjoy a tequila tasting and an extensive buffet.
The last stop of this tour will be Chichén Itzá, a UNESCO World Heritage site and an important relic of the Mayan civilization. We will discover why the city played such a significant role from the Late Classic period to the early part of the Postclassic period, and why it remained a major pilgrimage center. Our guide will tell us all about the most important buildings such as the Kukulcán Pyramid, The Castle, or The Ball Game. Enjoy this visit full of fascinating stories, incredible details, and amazing opportunities for taking photographs.
