When you reach the reef area, you'll board the submarine and settle in the lower part, where there is air conditioning. Our bilingual guides will showcase the different coral species, marine life, and exotic fish. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to observe 7 of the statues that are part of the Cancun Underwater Art Museum, an amazing ecological project created by the British artist Jason DeCaires Taylor.
The purpose of this project was to create an artificial reef that merges art with nature. The life-sized statues, made with eco-friendly marine materials, actively encourage coral growth and become a habitat for fish and marine life.
