Description of the experience

Considered one of the most important Maya ruins on the Yucatán Peninsula, Cobá contains many engraved and sculpted stelae that document the ceremonial life and significant events of the Maya civilization before and during the colonial era. Cobá also houses truly impressive ancient temple pyramids known as Nohoch Mul, the tallest of which, Ixmoja, stands at approximately 42 meters (138 feet) in height.
