Sóller and Fornalutx are possibly some of the most secluded villages in Mallorca; however, the Sóller valley holds a wealth of treasures and secrets waiting to be discovered. Here, we will tell you what to do in Soller and Fornalutx.

The most common route to reach Soller is by starting from Palma and taking the Soller train, constructed years ago to bypass the old mountain route that took 40 minutes to reach Sóller. However, there are alternative routes if you want to reach this gem of the Tramuntana.
The Soller Railway is a train line that connects Palma and Soller, passing through Son Sardina and Bunyola. The line is divided into two branches: the Soller train covers the route between Palma and Soller, and the tram runs from Soller to the Port of Soller.
Bus line 204, departing from Plaza España, will take you to Soller in just 45 minutes, at a cost ranging from 3 to 5 €. The schedule may vary depending on the season, but it usually runs hourly.
Parking in the center of the town of Soller is always much easier than in the rest of the municipality. When entering Soller from the tunnel, you will find many parking spaces on the right side of the main road. However, if you want to go to Port de Sóller, you will have to park in a parking lot located at the entrance of the port.
Parking in Fornalutx is easier, but the entire village is in a paid blue zone.

The gastronomy of Fornalutx and Sóller is heavily influenced by the fishing tradition of Port de Sóller, with the Red Prawn of Sóller being its flagship dish.

However, the oranges of Sóller and the ice creams are very famous.
